The ST8 Review
Thirty checks. One list. In the order we'd fix them.
A senior person goes through everything that decides whether a buyer finds you, chooses you and pays you, and hands you a written list: what to fix now, what can wait, and what isn't worth touching.
What gets checked
Three stages. Ten checks each.
The Mirror on our homepage runs four of these in twenty seconds. The Review runs all thirty, with a person reading the results.
Does the right buyer see you at all?
- Google's front page for your company name: what's there, what's missing, who else shows up
- Your Google Business Profile: claimed, complete, and matching your website
- What AI assistants answer when asked about you, and whether they'd recommend you
- Rankings for the services you actually sell, not just your name
- Competitors buying ads on your name
- Indexation and technical basics that keep pages out of search
- Local and industry directories: present, consistent, or wrong
- Structured data so machines can read who you are
- Site speed and mobile experience as Google measures it
- Where your best pages rank against the three firms you lose deals to
When they land, do they believe you?
- The first six seconds on a phone: can a stranger say what you do and for whom
- Reviews: how many, how recent, how you answer them
- Proof: case studies, results and names a buyer would recognize
- Whether the brand looks like one company across site, profiles and social
- Service pages: do they answer the buyer's real question or describe you
- Offer clarity: what you sell, who it's for, what happens next
- Calls to action: visible, specific, and the same on every page
- Trust signals: team, credentials, partners, guarantees
- Content that shows judgment, not just activity
- The About page and founder story: is there a person behind the company
After the click, does anyone catch the lead?
- Lead capture: forms, calls and chat, and how many steps each one takes
- Response time from inquiry to a human reply
- Follow-up: what happens on day one, day three and day ten
- CRM: are leads recorded, sourced and worked, or lost in an inbox
- Attribution: can you say which channel produced last quarter's clients
- Paid search: spend on searches that never convert
- Landing pages that match the ad and the promise
- Retargeting the people who visited and left
- Email: is there a reason for a past visitor or client to hear from you
- The hand-off from marketing to sales, and what gets dropped in between
What you get
A document, a list, and a conversation.
Everything is yours to keep whether you work with us afterward or not.
Every finding put in one order, so you know what to do Monday morning.
All thirty checks with what we found, why it matters to a buyer, and what fixing it involves. Written in plain language you can hand to your team or another agency.
Gustavo takes you through the list, answers questions, and tells you which items you can do in-house. Recorded and sent the same day.
With read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console and your CRM, the Review uses your data, not estimates. Optional, but it makes the list sharper.
After you've had time to digest it, one round of questions by email. No clock running.
If you ask ST8 to fix what we found within 90 days, the Review fee comes off the first invoice in full.
How it works
Four steps. About a week.
Pick a walkthrough slot. We send a short list of what helps: your site, your profiles, and optional read-only access to analytics and your CRM.
By hand, over a few days. Where a tool can measure something, we use the tool; where it takes judgment, a senior person does it.
The written document arrives before the call, so the hour is spent on decisions rather than reading.
Do it in-house, hand it to your current partner, or ask us to fix what matters. All three are fine answers.
Fit check
Who the Review is for.
Being upfront so neither of us wastes a week.
- ✓Run a B2B service firm where a considered buyer checks you out before calling
- ✓Have marketing in place, but it feels like disconnected vendors
- ✓Want an honest list, even where it stings
- ✓Are the person who decides what gets fixed
- ✓Would rather spend a week on a diagnosis than a year guessing
- ×Are pre-revenue or not yet selling to businesses
- ×Have already decided what needs to change and want it validated
- ×Need a proposal deck rather than a diagnosis
- ×Are shopping for the cheapest possible audit
- ×Can't get the decision-maker on the walkthrough call
Which one do I need?
Four ways to look at your business.
Two are free and take minutes. One is a conversation. The Review is the only one that produces a list you can act on.

Direct answers to direct questions.
Why is the Review paid when the Mirror is free?
The Mirror is four checks run by software in twenty seconds. The Review is thirty checks done by a senior person over several days, written up and walked through with you. Charging for it also keeps the list honest: nobody sits through a sales pitch, and nobody on the call is there to be sold to. If you ask us to do the work afterward, the fee is credited in full.
What if I don't want to hire ST8 afterward?
That's a normal outcome and the Review is written for it. You leave with the document, the priority list and the recording, and you can act on all of it in-house or with any other partner. We don't try to convert you on the call.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console and your CRM makes the numbers real instead of estimated, and we'll send simple instructions for each. If you can't get access ready, we work from the outside and from what you tell us.
How long does it take?
About a week from booking to walkthrough, depending on the calendar. The written Review arrives before the call so the hour is spent deciding, not reading.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you finish the walkthrough and feel the Review wasn't worth the fee, say so and we'll refund it. No forms and no argument.
Find out where you're losing them.
Thirty checks, one list, in the order we'd fix them. Book the walkthrough slot and we'll take it from there.
